Especially a vague as fuck "we're kind of think maybe there's something" stance. Its not HUGE DISCLOSURE tiered enough to be considered an actual distraction. And its not like the demand for info on it was so huge that they just had to. They have the tech and power to go full disclosure even if it was all entirely fake but didn't even attempt that either. Think of how for years and years people screeched about the epstien files for us to eventually got a super blotted out dump. And now randomly we get this weird half nothing burger?
