NASA Unveils Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Report : CSPAN : September 18, 2023 4:56am-5:58am EDT

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson announced that NASA is appointing a director of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) research. He said NASA has so far found no evidence that UAPs are connected to extraterrestrials, but there is a lot more to learn. The announcement occurred during a news conference on UAP findings from NASA's headquarters in Washington, DC. Also, he and other officials emphasized that they were making an effort to shift the public's consciousness of extraterrestrials from "sensationalism" to "science," and that NASA is transparent with its data. Finally, when asked by a reporter about recent sworn testimony from former Defense Department employee David Grusch that the federal government possess UAPs and alien lifeforms, Mr. Nelson replied, "Where's the evidence?"
