# Rep. Eric Burlison’s staying skeptical: Laslo: “Now are we gonna see — like, are you convinced that some of the stuff you’ve seen in classified settings is classified for no reason? That it should be out there for the public?” Burlison: “That’s absolutely part of our effort.” Laslo: “Do you think that will change the national debate?” Burlison: “I think the fact that Trump is saying he wants these released is the real impetus and helpful in getting these things disclosed.” Laslo: “Now, some people are a little dubious about that. Like when he relaxed cannabis, it was an executive order...”\* \*Background: even after Trump’s cannabis Executive Order and this week’s medical marijuana announcement — which merely reclassified state-licensed medical cannabis as less dangerous — marijuana is still [listed](https://www.dea.gov/drug-information/drug-scheduling) as a Schedule I narcotic by the DEA.  Burlison: “Oh, I’m totally dubious. I don’t trust this town at all.” Laslo: “Yeah?” Burlison: “But it still doesn’t mean you don’t try.” Laslo: “Yeah.” Burlison: “Alright. Thanks.” Burlison turns and heads into the US Capitol.
